About Us
Louisa Development Group (LDG) is a member supported economic development and marketing organization serving Louisa County, Iowa. LDG was founded in January 2004 because a group of motivated residents wanted to see an organized effort behind economic development and tourism.
Mallory Smith was the first executive director and served through June of 2006. Jason Hutcheson was the second executive director and began duties in July of 2006, finishing in late May 2007. He is now 
with Grow Greater Burlington in Burlington, IA.
Angie Sanders is the current executive director and started July 2007. Ms. Sanders is originally from the Quad Cities. She most recently finished up her Masters Degree from Western Illinois University in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration, with an emphasis in Economic Development.
The board of directors meets the first Monday of each month at 3:30pm alternating between the Civic Center in Columbus Junction (odd months) and the LDG Office in Wapello (even months).
